This clay fly puppet was created as part of my initial pitch for a university project. The concept was based around an interview-style animation series, where each episode would feature a different insect.

The fly character was designed to be the first in a wider cast, with each insect having a slightly humanised form. This approach would allow them to express personality, emotion, and individuality more clearly, making it easier to tell engaging and character-driven stories. The goal was to combine educational elements with a narrative style that felt fun, relatable, and visually interesting.
